2012 Valden Cow of the Year

From HI:

Production, classification, proven sons, show success - whoever wins the Valden Trophy in New Zealand must be good. The candidate in question here, Muritai Wattle, is good. In 2013, she won the title herself, and in 2015 and 2016, her daughters Talent Wattle and Pierre Wanetta took the title. Together, the trio accounts for 35 breeding stars. All three have been honoured for production and longecity. At 20 years of age, Wattle is the oldest nominee, and her daughter Talent Wattle would be the fourth oldest at 13 years of age. Wattle and her two daughters have several sons in service, including the intensively-used Warrior and Whistler.
